What Moms
Say About Our Parenting Classes
|
"If I was excited about your parenting tele-class before
tonight's session; I am now 'on fire' about future evenings
spent on the phone with you. Thanks for this wonderful
opportunity.

"I
am thrilled with the program! I have my masters degree in
adult education, and 10 years of training with major
corporations under my belt, and have been so impressed with
your program and style. I can't wait for more!
What I like most is the
practical advice. Your ideas and tools are common sense, so
they are easy to implement and your style brings them to
life so they are easy to apply. I love also how you focus on
"Me" the Mom! I give them so much, and I realize now
that I need to take better care of their mother. This is
probably my biggest area of learning.
I want to also say THANK
YOU as you have made things so much easier in my household. My
3.5 year
old daughter doesn't break out in hysterical crying anymore
when I'm trying to redirect her behavior.
I
put myself first often now--I take one day a week to do my
errands, make my calls, and not feel guilty that my kids are
missing their activities. I have begun to work out 5 times a
week (often with them), I have a date with my husband every
Friday night and I am easier on myself about my list of
to-do's.
So many positive changes. Thanks so very much!"

"Love
those classes - thanks Kelly. I'm truly going to miss that
me time on Wednesday nights. I spend my time listening to
the calls while walking on the treadmill so thanks to Kelly I
am going to be an Ultimate Mom and a more shapely Mom!!! THANK
YOU!!! I absolutely love listening to you and soaking in all
the information. Looking forward to next week.

“When
my husband and I married, we had every conversation under the
sun about what kind of marriage we wanted. We knew what our
expectations were of one another and generally what our roles
would be. We also both knew we wanted children. What we did
not discuss was what kind of parents we wanted to be.
After my second child
was born I put a ton of pressure on myself. I was trying to do
everything I had done before plus adding 12 - 20 hours a week
of a part-time job into the mix. My home was a mess, I cried
often, and separated myself from friends and family. I found
myself yelling at the kids. I was always worried about our
schedule and never took the time to enjoy the moment. One day
I walked into my daughter's extremely messy room and started
dry-heaving.
I knew then that I
needed help.
I finally connected
with a counselor. One of the greatest things to come out of
those visits was her recommendation of Kelly Nault's book,
When You're About to Go Off the Deep End, Don't Take Your Kids
With You.
This book and Kelly's
course has enabled me to learn to mother without guilt -
something I was having major issues with. I look back now and
it is amazing to me how many things have changed since this
parenting material has crossed my path. I have taught my
children how to do so many things, which has made my life so
much easier. I now have the courage to be imperfect. And most
importantly I have learned that "Peace begins with me." I no
longer allow someone else's bad hair day to cause me to have a
bad hair day (most of the time)! I find myself going back to
Kelly's material again and again to look up information on
whatever is currently going on in our family.
I will cherish this
book and all that I have learned at Ultimate Parent and
continue to return to it as my children grow and change. I am
so grateful to Kelly for sharing this information and so proud
of myself for the positive changes I've made so far.

Thanks
for your course and your inspired approach. Since the end of
our class, I want you to know that I have been consistently
adding to my 100 list often and I have noticed that I am
feeling more enthusiastic and just cheerful. The kids, of
course, notice and respond. They are joining in, and we all
have had a raising of spirits. This, I know, is your goal.
Happiness along the way is a necessity not a destination and a
by- product of your teaching strategy. I heartily recommend
your course and book to Mom's everywhere and will to my
students' Moms here.

"I
just wanted to drop you a quick line and tell you how awesome
the teleconference was tonight. I truly enjoyed it and I am
anxiously awaiting the next weeks class. Reading your book was
great, but this takes it all to a whole new level. Im feeling
very inspired! You are a great facilitator! I dont want to
speak for everyone, but Im sure they would agree that tonight
was a great start to the next 4 weeks. Thank you, thank you,
thank you!"
